 Oh yeah, I am familiar with the Rick and Morty binge.

 When I ask my dev for a new feature, it's like...

 To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty.

 The humor is extremely subtle and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics,

 most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head.

 There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is definitely woven into his characterization.

 His personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodinia-Dvolia literature, what the heck,

 for instance. The fans understand this stuff, they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate

 the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny, they say something

 deep about life. As a consequence, people who dislike Rick and Morty are idiots.

 And of course, they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humor in Rick's existential

 catchphrase, which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons.

 I'm smirking right now just imagining one of these adult-painted sibletons scratching

 their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wits unfolds itself on their television

 And yes, by the way, I do have a Rick and Morty tattoo.

 Fuckin' Rick and Morty, man. I prefer to think of the Rick that secretly

 believes in meaning nihilistic on the surface, but deep down he knows.

 YouTube that is actually not in Rick and Morty itself. It's various promos and

 trailers from Adult Swim put together. I highly recommend you to look up Mr.

 Jewels as well as there's kind of like a

 Samurai parody. Really, really good stuff that's not in the normal Rick and Morty episodes.

 allusion to memory at the end is very interesting.

 I heard they're gonna make an entire anime based on this style with Rick and Morty.

 That would be badass, so looking forward to seeing that.

 This one I have not seen. It's like, what is going on?

 I saw Akira in there. I saw so many different things. It was tight.

 I think I would definitely pay for a Mr. Meeseeks Street Fighter. If anybody is interested.

 Oh wow, uh, yeah I'm gonna have to watch some of these tonight.

 My hope for this channel is that we get a cease and desist.

 I'm not a cow. I'm a pickle when I feel like it. So you asked.

 Rick, the only connection between your unquestionable intelligence and the sickness

 destroying your family is that everyone in your family, you included, use intelligence to justify

 sickness. You seem to alternate between 

 your own mind as an unstoppable force and as an

 inescapable curse. And I think it's because the only truly unapproachable concept for you is that

 it's your mind within your control. You chose 

 to come here. You chose to talk to belittle my

 vocation just as you chose to become a pickle. 

 You are the master of your universe and yet you

 are dripping with rat blood and feces, your enormous mind literally vegetating by your own

 hand. I have no doubt that you would be bored 

 senseless by therapy the same way I'm bored when

 I brush my teeth and wipe my ass because the 

 thing about repairing, maintaining, and cleaning is

 it's not an adventure. There's no way to do it 

 so wrong you might die. It's just work. And the

 bottom line is some people are okay going to 

 work and some people, well, some people would rather

 die. Each of us gets to choose. That's our 

 time. I'm going to give you guys my card and hope to

 hear from you again. And if you have any friends or 

 that eat poop and would like to stop, give them my number.

 I know people like to cite this episode 

 and this rant as a great one, and it is.

 It's a brilliant piece of writing. That said, I 

 this was the beginning of the end of Rick and Morty.

 After this, and a few more episodes after 

 this, I think the show stopped being all that

 season two that I think it jumped the shark.

 Probably season three was pretty downhill, and season four and onwards are just no good.

 And I think the reason is because it's about this time that Dan 

 Harmon's Hollywood friends started attacking him for portraying Rick as a hero

 when really they thought he was a bad role model and very politically incorrect.

 So Dan did a little bit of an apology and after this 

 the show shifted from casting Rick as a hero to casting 

 Rick as a character who should be avoided at all costs

 So you'll see in episodes after season 2 that Summer and Beth 

 and Jerry and so on are much more featured as positive characters

 and that Rick is often admonished or looked down upon and 

 isn't just allowed to get away with his antics so to speak.

 And I think The Simpsons went through a similar transformation where 

 went from being a deeply cynical and funny show up until about season 9

 after which it became a heartwarming show with moral lessons to teach us.

 So I consider the first two seasons of Rick and Morty to be 

 phenomenal. Third season is okay, and then it's pretty downhill from there.

 Because, let's face it, we were tuning in for Rick.

 I don't know, I couldn't make it past the masturbating dragons episode.

 I think after that one I lost all appetite for Rick and Morty.

 I've heard a very similar critique on YouTube before of people talking about

 how the pickle Rick was the beginning of the end and yeah it definitely went

 always have hope that maybe one day it will

 become so unpopular that maybe I don't know they'll have the freedom to revive

 it again like once things get unpopular enough I think they get more creative

 freedom because there's not as much like scrutiny people don't really care as

 much once it gets popular then oh all of Dan Hartman's friends start you know

 complaining to him so who knows maybe we'll get a in ten years another one

 more good season what did Rick say he said million years nine nine hundred seasons

 i agree that was a pretty that was a pretty weird episode

 This is the Evil Morty song as a trap mix.

 I'm with it. I really, I think I stopped in the middle 

 of the previous season, but this last season I enjoyed it.

 I watched like three episodes at a time and I really enjoyed this last one.

 If you haven't seen them all in the vault I definitely would recommend at

 least these Evil Morty episodes. There are only a few episodes throughout all

 of these seasons that are really like episodic that tie into each other and

 it's the Evil Morty ones especially the very end of season 5 that last episode

 where Evil Morty does some crazy stuff man that's it's pretty epic but yeah

 it's sucks that there's so much fluff in between and some of those new

 villains man what was that one that guy 

 in the sea mr. Nimbus like what man they

 almost were degrading Rick at that point with that guy 

 sheesh but either way I really loved this this this stuff

 For season 5 it's actually the last two episodes, not just the last episode.

 And that will catch you up. And I don't think 

 season 6 is necessary. I think that just mentions him.

 Rick and Morty has officially went downhill.

 They replaced the voice actor. And... It's just awful, man.

 It hurts. It hurts to see. It looks like, uh, knockoff Rick and Morty,

 like Disney bought it or something. Tragedy.

 talking about how Rick and Morty went downhill when he turned himself into a pickle.

 It's just like round two of going downhill right out the gate. It's almost ironic like

 geez hopefully they will admit their mistakes one of these days just go back. Man.

 Also, what mistakes are we referring to here?

 Because Justin fucked up, so they had to get him out, right?

 And don't get me wrong, I like the Pickle Rick 

 episode, but it definitely was the beginning of the end.

 And this last season is truly the nail in the coffin, man.

 Ugh, it's sad. I mean, I've watched all of the Rick and Mortys 

 up until this last season, but I might have to boycott this one.

 What makes it super ironic is if that was happening in the Rick and Morty universe

 Like there is a show and then the creator slash main voice actor

 Gets falsely accused of something and they remove him from the show

 But when it happens in real life, they they don't act the same way

 So, yeah, it's so weird so weird that happened to Rick and 

 Morty if it was any other series any other show I would understand

 But it's just so hypercritical of Rick and Morty really

 I just feel like the authenticity of Rick, of stumbling over his words and burping and

 just rambling, you know, there's just nothing like it.

 And they've lost that now. And they've lost the sharpness 

 of the voice with the, you know, there's that certain tones.

 Just isn't the same, man. I won't be watching it.

 I agree that Pickle Rick was the beginning of the end. That's when 

 they started focusing more on the family and making Rick to be a sort of

 controversial character or a negative character that one 

 should not try to emulate. Whereas in the first two seasons,

 Rick was unabashed, Rick was fearless, Rick was 

 unapologetic, and Rick was a hero. And that's what made the show special.

 So I think the first two seasons were fantastic.

 Third and fourth had some hit-and-miss episodes and after that it's basically unwatchable.

 Perhaps this was because Dan Harmon got negative feedback from 

 his Hollywood buddies and decided to go at least more mainstream.

 It's sort of like season nine of The Simpsons when they jump the shark when

 The Simpsons went from everyone being unlikable, crazy, incompetent, you know
